Become a member for 325 SEK/year. As a member of the non-profit organization Katthjälpen, your money goes entirely to homeless cats in Malmö and the surrounding area. It costs you 89 öre per day to help give our cats a better and more dignified life. You are what makes our business possible!

Invitation to our Open Houses
At least twice a year we have an Open House at the cat shelter. Here you can meet our cats, find bargains at our flea market, buy crafts and jewelry from artists and other handy people who have chosen to donate their creations to Katthjälpen. Coffee and homemade cakes are a matter of course, as is a popular raffle. Mingling among cat lovers and volunteers is promised!
Invitation to our yearly meeting
As a member, you participate and influence the association. You will be invited to the association's annual meeting where you as a member have voting rights.

Membership fee
The membership fee for the year October 15, 2025 – October 14, 2026 is SEK 325.
Membership year
Katthjälpen's membership year starts on October 15 and runs until October 14 of the following year. From September 1, you can pay for the upcoming membership year. If the membership fee is paid later than October 15, it is valid for the current membership year until October 14. You are welcome to become a member throughout the year to support the homeless cats!
